The AGILE medical pouch is engineered to provide immediate access to an individual first aid kit organized according to the MARCH protocol. Its design reflects real-world operational experience and the demands of service members working in high-intensity, unpredictable environments.
With a slim profile of approximately 7 cm when fully loaded, the pouch minimizes bulk and maintains a low silhouette. This allows unrestricted movement during dynamic operations, vehicle deployment, and assault missions without adding unnecessary thickness to the gear setup.
The pouch is compatible with belt-and-suspender systems (LBE) and can also be mounted on the side cummerbund of a plate carrier. It attaches via two MOLLE straps and occupies three vertical columns of webbing, ensuring secure integration into modular load-bearing platforms.
Functional highlights:
- Quick downward pull-out design for fast deployment of the internal insert
- Secure hook-and-loop retention keeps contents in place during opening
- External elastic loop for tourniquet storage
- Side MOLLE webbing for attaching additional pouches or accessories
- Dedicated platform holder for trauma shears
- Adjustable compression with durable shock cord to reduce excess volume
- Outer Velcro panel for patches and identification markers
The internal layout is optimized for logical placement of medical components, allowing rapid identification and access to life-saving supplies in critical situations.
Materials and components
The AGILE pouch is constructed from high-grade materials selected for durability in demanding field conditions:
- Cordura® 1000D (Brookwood, USA)– authentic fabric featuring NIR treatment to reduce visibility under night vision devices. Includes double polyurethane coating for water resistance, is flame-resistant, fade-resistant, and highly abrasion-resistant.
- TYTAN reinforced threads (100% polyester)– provide strong, long-lasting seams resistant to mechanical stress and chemical exposure.
- 2M hardware (Italy)– proven reliability and durability in operational environments.
- Velcro Alfatex (Belgium)– high-density hook-and-loop fastening that maintains strong grip over extended use.
- Polyamide webbing and shock cord– engineered for enhanced strength, wear resistance, and heat tolerance.
