TacMed Solution Helios System Active Warming

TacMed Helios is an ultra-compact hypothermia prevention system that allows you to maintain different levels of heat retention without obstructing patient access. Consists of top and bottom thermal blanket and heating pad.

Hypothermia prevention and treatment is a key component in preventing the onset of the lethal triad of acidosis, hypothermia, and coagulopathy. If this condition is not managed in the early stages of treatment, it can reduce patient survival and complicate the treatment process.

The Helios system has been designed to provide clinicians with an ultra-compact, lightweight modular system that allows for variable heat retention levels while still providing patient access.

The Active Warming option includes a Readi-Heat (NSN:6532-01-538-1525) that provides up to 12 hours of active warming.
